Michigan Is Still In

Next Steps Letter

We’ve got a lot to celebrate. Last week, President Mark Schlissel signed the We Are Still In pledge, joining a climate leaders across the United States and signaling to the world that we’re serious about climate action. It’s a historic first step for the University of Michigan to take climate action in a post-Paris world.

But we think it’s only a first step. We’re partnering with the Michigan and the Climate Crisis Executive Committee on another letter to President Schlissel outlining that we want to translate commitment into action, through ensuring our investments are responsible and that our energy is clean. Michigan is Still In Letter

Climate Blue has partnered with the MC^2: Michigan and the Climate Crisis executive committee in advocating for the University of Michigan to support the UNFCCC 2015 Paris Agreement through signing the We Are Still In pledge. Together, we drafted a letter to President Mark Schlissel urging that he sign and tell the world that Michigan is Still In on climate change. A copy of the letter is available here:
